Saint Maarten, the Cayman Islands, Haiti, and Jamaica, Carnival falls directly during Easter week
The carnivals in Cuba, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico continue their celebrations the week before to Easter itself.
Visitors to the U.S. Virgin Islands can enjoy Carnival on St. Thomas toward the end of April.
The British Virgin Islands St. Lucia, Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Barbados, Grenada, Montserrat, St. Kitts & Nevis, St. Eustatius, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Tobago are in July and early August.
Grenada's Carnival falls in August.

Barbados starts the annual Caribbean Jazz Festivals with "Paint it Jazz." It is generally held early in the year, around the middle of January.
Curaçao's KLM Jazz Festival, and the St. Lucia International Jazz happens early in the month of May. Also in the month of May, those who like jazz can also stop in at the Heineken Jazz Festival in Puerto Rico or visit Antigua for their annual Jazz Festival.
Jamaica host their Ocho Rios Jazz Festival in June. One can then enjoy the St. Kitts Music Festival with its variety of musical styles.
In early October Curaçao invites travelers back to experience jazz again at the Curaçao Jazz Festival. You can then stop in the Dominican Republic and enjoy the Annual Jazz Festival also in early October.
One can visit Jamaica again for jazz when Jamaica kicks things off in November with the Air Jamaica Jazz and Blues Festival, and Trinidad is host to the Pan Jazz Festival mid-month.
